Finally a new DIY project ! I saw this idea on Pinterest and instantly felt the urge to recreate it. Where there is glitter, there is Cindy (big obsession with glitter, if you haven't figured out it yet).
This DIY doesn't take a lot of time and it's not that much expensive. I already had everything I needed at home, so hurray !
Let's see what you'll need for this DIY:
Končno nov Naredi si sam projekt. Idejo sem videla na Pinterest-u in takoj začutila potrebo po ustvarjanju. Kjer so bleščice, tam je Cindy (sem pač obsedena z bleščicami).
Torej tale projekt ne vzame veliko časa in tudi denarja ne. Jaz sem že imela vse potrebščine doma in mi na srečo ni bilo treba skakati v trgovino, jupi !
No pa poglejmo, kaj potrebuješ:
STEP 1 / 1. KORAK:
For this step you can use almost any kind of tape that will stick onto the canvas. Use the tape to make a geometric design. Be creative, it will turn out great however you do it :) My design looks like this:
Najprej vzami katerikoli lepilni trak, ki se lepi na platno in z njim naredi geometrijski dizajn. Bodi kreativna, saj bo na koncu izgledalo super, kakorkoli narediš :) Jaz sem lepilni trak nalepila takole:
STEP 2 / 2. KORAK:
Choose the acrylic colors that you like. I chose dark purple and light purple paint. The dark one was a little bit too dark, so I used a white acrylic paint to lighten it up.
Izberi si akrilne barve, ki so ti všeč. Jaz sem izbrala svetlo vijolično, temno vijolično in belo, da sem lahko posvetlila temno vijolično barvo.
STEP 3 / 3. KORAK:
Paint the colors onto the canvas as you desire. I recommend that you first paint the dark color, then the light one and afterwards use the Mod Podge to paint on the glitter.
Predlagam, da najprej pobarvaš platno s temno barvo, nato s svetlejšo in, ko se to že malce posuši, še na preostale delce naneseš Mod Podge lepilo, da se bodo nanj pritrdile bleščice.
STEP 4 / 4. KORAK:
Let the painting to dry for about 15-20 minutes. Then shake off the excess glitter onto a newspaper, so that you can pour it back into the bottle after you're done.
Pusti, da se barva na platnu posuši približno 15-20 minut. Nato stresi odvečne bleščice na kakšen časopis, da jih boš lahko kasneje stresla nazaj v posodico.
STEP 5 / 5. KORAK:
Peel off the tape gently and let yourself be amazed. You are all done ! :)
Nežno odlepi lepilni trak in se pusti presenetiti. To je to, pravkar si naredila novo umetnino :)
