Če vas zanima kje prenočiti, kaj si ogledati in kaj dobrega pojesti vas vabim k nadaljnjem branju :)
Hello!
Last year I was on a holiday with my family in Brela and I wrote a blog post about it - you can find it here. I decided to do the same this year since there are many blog posts about vacations abroad but only a few about vacationing in Croatia. In this post, I would like to show you my guide to a holiday in Vrsi. If you are wondering where to stay, what to see and where to eat, I invite you to read further :)

O VRSIH / ABOUT VRSI
V tem majhnem mestecu najdete trgovine z osnovnimi dobrinami, par restavracij, nekaj lokalov, sladoledarno in nekaj stojnic s sadjem/zelenjavo in spominki. Poskusila sem testenine s škampi in klapavice.
Vrsi is a small town, just 22 km from Zadar. Here you will find shops with basic goods, a couple of restaurants, some bars, ice-cream shops and some stalls with fruit / vegetables and souvenirs. I only ate at the restaurant once at Konoba Mate, right next to the beach. I tried mussels and pasta with shrimps and both dishes were tasty. Also, the prices are not too high. The beach in Vrsi is beautiful, accessible, with pebbles, but there is no natural shade. The sea is clean and the color of it is just beautiful. On the beach, you can buy umbrellas and sunbeds.

NASTANITEV / WHERE TO STAY
We found a beautiful apartment in the town of Vrsi (click here), which is located just next to the beach named Vrsi Mulo. I liked everything in the chosen accommodation: accessibility to the beach (since you are actually on the beach), a huge terrace, a view from the bedroom of the beautiful turquoise sea, proximity to the shops, bars...

OGLEDI IN IZLETI / SIGHTS AND TRIPS
1) NIN
Križa in cerkev sv.
Since Vrsi is really not a big city, I recommend you to drive just 5 km away, to the small nearby town of Nin, which is really wonderful. The ride to Nin is short and you can park in a large parking lot right next to the center. The price for 1 hour is 10 kn, and after 5 pm the price for the rest of the evening is 20 kn. In Nin you can see St. Cross Church and Church of St. Anselma - the latter is interesting because it is in the form of a tower with stairs to the top and it also has a balcony similar to the one in Verona. Nin has everything: many restaurants, shops, stalls with clothing and souvenirs, a bakery and much more. I ate lunch in a simple restaurant Dva Mornara then tried a pizza slice in Mad Duck (I was disappointed by the taste). Also you can not leave the town without eating fritule. I also recommend visiting Solana Nin (museum and shop) where you can buy a variety of salt products. You can read more about their salt pans here.

Zadar je res nekaj posebnega in po mojem mnenju must-see mesto. V centru sem si ogledala znamenito cerkev sv. Donata, Forum, Narodni trg in Fošo.
Zadar is really something special and in my opinion, a must-see town. We parked right by the Hospital, walked through the park and in 7 minutes we reached the center. Keep in mind that Zadar is very crowded with tourists, especially in July and August. In the center, you must take a look at the famous church of St. Donat, Forum, Narodni trg and Foša. Learn more about what you can see in Zadar on this link. I recommend stopping by at the Art Kavana (click), located just a few meters away from the center, and try their delicious cakes (lavender & fig jam is the bomb). If you want to go shopping there is an interesting shopping center named City Galleria.
